Swim League Information:

The SVY Chinooks swim in the Puget Sound Swim Association (PSSA). The PSSA is made up primarily of YMCA sponsored teams. The league is split into a northern section and a southern section. The Chinooks swim mainly against teams from teams located in Seattle and north. The swim season splashes off each year in September. The first meet each year is the fall fest. This is a multi team meet held generally in the Seattle area. After that we will have approximately 5 dual (two team) meets. Some of these will be "home meets" and some will be "away meets." The league concludes each year in January with the YMCA Statewide Championship. This meet is held at the King County - Weyerhauser Pool in Federal Way. This is an Olympic quality pool. After this the swimmers with qualifying times travel to the Regional meet. Beyond Regionals the YMCA Long Course Nationals are held the first weekend in April in Florida.
